Why choose FPV Fiber Optic Module

The fiber optic module is a key component of systems where radio communication is impossible or compromises the operator’s position.

  • Absolute EW Immunity: Since the signal is transmitted via light pulses within the fiber, the module cannot be “jammed” by standard electronic interference.
  • Dual-Wavelength Communication (WDM): Utilizing different wavelengths (1310 nm for Air and 1550 nm for Ground) allows for simultaneous data transmission and reception over a single cable.
  • TTL (CRSF) Support: The module is fully compatible with flight controller communication protocols, ensuring crisp and responsive drone control.
  • Visual Monitoring: Integrated LED indicators (Power, Fiber Link, Video, Data) allow for a quick system status check before deployment.

Connection Specification

Air Module:

  • RX: Connection to CRSFTX (flight control).
  • TX: Connection to CRSFRX (telemetry/feedback).
  • AV: Analog video signal input.

Ground Module:

  • RX: CRSFTX reception from the remote controller.
  • TX: CRSFRX transmission to the control station.
  • AV: Output to a display, goggles, or repeater.

Warning: Module power input must not exceed 26V. Overvoltage may result in permanent device failure.
