Features
Improved camera
The integrated CADDX H1 camera provides stable, detailed video even in poor weather conditions or at dusk, allowing the operator to maintain full visual control until the target is hit.
Stable data transfer
The FPV drone is equipped with a RAD VTX 5.8G 2.5W video transmitter with a frequency of 5.8 GHz, providing a clear image at a distance of up to 20 km. *To avoid signal loss, it is recommended to use a ground signal relay station or an air signal relay station.
Increased load capacity
Powerful EM2810 1280KV motors allow it to lift up to 2 kg of combat or technical payload without losing manoeuvrability. This allows the drone to deliver cargo efficiently even at high speeds and in variable wind conditions.
Range
It confidently reaches targets within a combat radius of 18-20 km, maintaining a high cruising speed (up to 70-75 km/h) and excellent aerodynamics.
Reliable control system
The use of the GEP-F405-HD v2 flight controller in combination with the GEP-BLS60A-4IN1 ESC speed controller gives the BLA high stability and control accuracy. The GEPRC ELRS Nano 915M V2 receiver ensures reliable command reception even in difficult conditions, which is critical for long-range operations.

Why choose SkyCraft RMD 8 – 8″ FPV kamikaze drone
SKYCRAFT RMD 8″ is an 8-inch strike FPV drone for assault and raid missions where speed to target and accuracy are more important than maximum payload. This is one of the models of our military drones designed for assault teams, UAV platoons, and fire support units that carry out missions to destroy enemy equipment, fortifications, and manpower at distances of up to 20 km.
Due to its lower weight and compact frame, the RMD 8″ is particularly effective in dense urban areas, landings and difficult terrain, where sharp manoeuvres, flight in narrow corridors and approaching targets at difficult angles are required. The drone is optimised for the role of an FPV kamikaze with a payload of up to 2 kg, but still has enough flight time to fly around obstacles, refine the target’s position and correct the trajectory before striking.
Key design features and engineering solutions
The RMD 8″ is built on a rigid 8-inch frame with a well-thought-out layout that minimises vibration and ensures stable operation of the electronics even during aggressive manoeuvres. Powerful motors paired with three-bladed propellers provide sufficient thrust for combat loads, while the energy-efficient power unit maintains an optimal balance between speed, flight time and manoeuvrability.
The electronics are selected with an emphasis on reliability in combat: a flight controller with a modern component base, a reliable ESC, a proven FPV camera with good image quality in low light conditions, and a video transmitter designed for a stable analogue signal at tactical distances. The design provides convenient access to components for quick repair and replacement in the field, as well as compatibility with common 6S batteries, which simplifies power logistics in the unit.
Advantages of the model compared to other solutions
Compared to heavier 10-13-inch platforms, the SKYCRAFT RMD 8″ wins in manoeuvrability, acceleration dynamics and ease of use in confined spaces – where large drones find it difficult to operate without the risk of colliding with obstacles. The model can deliver up to 2 kg of combat payload at tactical range while maintaining a high attack rate and the ability to quickly retarget.
Compared to typical ‘mass-produced’ 7-8‘ FPVs, the RMD 8’ offers a more balanced configuration for combat missions: a reinforced frame, reliable components, thrust reserve, and optimisation for stable operation with a combat payload, rather than for ‘sporty’ flight. This makes the model a rational choice for units that need a working strike tool with predictable characteristics, rather than a design that will have to be modified on their own.
